SUMMARY

The year is 1905. A nation suffers under the iron grip of tyranny and inequality. Can a bomb blast break the shackles of oppression?

Camus' masterpiece follows the story of a group of young terrorists determined to bring freedom and liberty to their nation, at any cost. Their decision to sacrifice their lives and their feelings to the revolution brings them to violence. Are their actions justified or merely murder by another name? Will bloodshed bring about success and deliver equality and justice for all? Or will it merely bring death, devastation and despair?

Les Justes asks us questions that are as important now as they ever were. Questions about morality, right and wrong and whether violence is ever justified. Questions we cannot afford to ignore.
