SUMMARY

Another Man's Dice: two new short plays of friends, fate and their respective dangers. 'Pathways' explores the delicate balance between egos and friendship, and 'Luck of the Draw' puts money at the heart of what could have been a great night out. We've all got friends we pretend we like; we've all got a side we keep under wraps. But what if, for just one night, we really let rip? What if a stroke of luck is all it takes to put the gas to the flame?

Mike + Emma went drinking with some friends. They came away with two new plays and a hangover in waiting. Their characters did the same thing. They, on the other hand, came away with an odd stroke of fortune, multiple social issues and a dose of venom. These two short plays aim to create uncomfortably possible 'what if' situations that bring into question what could happen to the most mundane of lives if things took an unusual turn. We've all played Ring of Fire. But have we ever played a round that ends in asphyxiation? For some it's just an ignored allergy away.

'Another Man's Dice' will be a slick, silly night of raucous fun. At least to begin with, anyway.

We apologise if any friendships are reassessed during the course of this show.
