Intwothewings Theatre Company presents

A Writer’s Lot

Written by Joshua King and directed by Jemima Standen-Jewell

TheSpace@Surgeon’s Hall

2nd-17th August excluding Sundays (previews 2nd and 3rd August)

6:10pm (40 minutes)

James William is a writer, struggling with his belief that “you can’t have a good play without it ending in death”. But this fixation with killing off all his characters sees him sent to a mysterious psychologist, whose bewildering words work to challenge the ideas of influence and inspiration within the playwright. William’s reality and the world of his play gradually merge, spiralling out of control and combining to create a chaotic culmination of death and playwriting.

intwothewings is an exciting new theatre company passionate about staging new writing. We aim to provide a platform for unknown playwrights to have their work seen. Founded in August 2012 by Eleri Owen and Jemima Standen-Jewell, we are a young fresh company determined to help new writing of a high standard to reach a public audience.

Intwothewings Theatre Company is proud to support Runnymede Mental Health Association.
