SUMMARY

One Relationship. Infinite possibilities. An explosive new play about the boundless potential of a first encounter, free will, and friendship; it’s about quantum multiverse theory, love, and honey, a touching portrayal of the lives of Roland and Marianne as they meet and fall in love again and again and again. With just two actors, and one pianist, this is a strikingly simple production of a truly beautiful play.

Constellations premiered at the Royal Court Theatre, London, in January 2012 and was named the winner of the best play category at the Evening Standard Theatre Awards in November 2012, making 29-year-old Payne the youngest winner. The play then went on to critically acclaimed and sold-out West End and Broadway transfers, and a UK tour in 2015, making this its ADC Theatre premiere.
