SUMMARY

The English upper classes gather at Lady Hunstanton’s country house and over the next twenty-four hours the lives of the characters are irrevocably changed by revelations of seduction and scandal. The 1893 play explores the double standards between men and women and showcases Wilde’s sharp witticisms and particular brand of dark humour at its very best.
